A final unit test will be administered on Tuesday, May 22 for 5th period and Wednesday, May 23 for 3rd period AP classes. The test will cover the modern era--Presidents Carter through George W. Bush. (Chapters 35-37 in the text). A study guide will be distributed in class on Friday, May 16. Not all students have to take this exam. There are four groups of students that need to take this exam:
- Students that want another chance to improve their grade. (For example, a student with a 78 or 79 hoping to do well enough on the test to bring their grade up to a B).
- Students that did not take the AP examination last Friday. (Required to take final)
- Students that are failing the class.
- Students that were involved with academic dishonesty issues over the last two units (cheating on tests, plagiarism on extra credit, turning in work that they did not complete, etc.).
