Appointments
We request that parents call and make an appointment if they wish to meet with their students' counselors. This helps to ensure that we are available when you come. We want to be able to give you the full attention that your and your student requires. Email is a wonderful way to ask quick questions, and often a quicker way to get a response, so we encourage parents to choose this option when possible.
Students can come during the school day with permission from their teachers. Counselors are also available before and after school to meet with students. Occasionally, counselors may call in students for various reasons, including scheduling, personal/social/emotional, college planning, testing, or for a variety of other reasons. Students are also welcome to email their counselors as well. We love to hear from our students!

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Kell High School counseling program is to encourage all students to achieve their full potential as they develop scholastically and socially; to support them through their career, personal and social development, and to prepare them to be responsible decision-makers, productive citizens, and life-long learners. Our counselors work closely with faculty, parents and the community to ensure that students’ needs are met and that an environment is created where students are encouraged to value learning, to maintain healthy relationships, to respect diversity and to approach challenges with ethical responsibility.
