Yearbook sales
Students are to be working on sales plans in order to increase the sales of the yearbook. Awards are given for thosse who come up with the most creative ideas as well as those who actually sell the most.

March Madness/
During most of march we will be primarliy be working on the modern version of a classic play. The students have broken into groups and are working on theme, characters and dialogue. This has been a bit harden then they expected. The guides I have given them include seeing segments of westside story and we read through a short play called the liscence which is part of a book "Center Stage" written primarily for teens. The process for creating their own play has been explained and I have provided examples of what I expect. Any student with additional questions is welcome to come see me at anytime.
****Students keep in mind that the plays should be completed by Friday 3/29/08. Your group should be able to do a walk through and be ready for a full performance starting Monday and Tuesday.ss media.
The next assignment will be an informational speech. By this I mean you will have to find our how something is done and explain it to the class in a presentation format. example The origins of radio and television.i.e. the precurser to mass media.
