For the next 2 weeks each of my classes will be creating an electronic Career Portfolio. The portfolio will contain a resume, letters of recommendation and/or references, examples of student work, a sample cover letter, a sample thank you/follow up letter and various other documents. Students will also be participating in mock interviews, allowing them to gain interview experience or to sharpen existing skills. I will be encouraging students to save a copy of their portfolio to a flash drive so that they can continue to use and update their portfolio in the future.
