STANDARD:  EDU-CIE.4  Students will recognize the inevitable presence of societal and cultural influences in contemporary educational thought and practice.

ASSIGNMENT:  Paraphrase the book "What Great Teachers do Differently."

Students were assigned 2-3 chapters of the book to paraphrase and type up.

Students are reviewing each others chapters for corrections, additions, and deletions.

Attend "Ron Clark's" speaking engagement at Kennesaw State University on Thursday, February 25, 2010.  9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Sponsored by Cobb County TAP Program in conjunction with Kennesaw State University.

Assignment:  Write a one-page summary on your Ron Clark experience to be turned in.

Week 7 - 11 Assignment

STANDARD:  EDU-CIE-5.  Stu;dents will understand and apply critical perspectives on education and schooling.

Tap intern will select one student in their elementary classroom to observe for the next four weeks.  A written report will be due each Friday.
