The Advanced Web Design students will complete the same assignments as the Fundamentals because copyrights were not discussed during their fundamentals class.
The Final Project will be graded with the same rubric. However, the advanced students will use Expression 4.0 to create their web pages.
During the 3rd Six Weeks of Web Design students will explore Standard BCS.FWD.2. Students will demonstrate an understanding of governmental, ethical and industry compliance issues.

Unit 1: BASIC WEB SITE CONSTRUCTION & TECHNIQUES
FWD-1. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the planning, development, and implementation of web sites. FWD-2. Students will demonstrate an understanding of government, ethical, and industry accessibility compliance issues.
Unit 2: LANGUAGES
FWD-3. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the history of markup languages. FWD-4. Students will demonstrate knowledge of languages, markup tags, and good coding practices commonly used to create web pages.
Unit 3: GRAPHICAL ELEMENTS & LAYOUTS
FWD-5. Students will identify and demonstrate appropriate use of graphical elements for web pages. FWD-6. Students will demonstrate knowledge of web page layout fundamentals.
