All Classes: EPIC AWESOMNESS PROJECT

TOPIC: Your Choice

 

In an effort to demostrate something you like from this semester, you are to design a project entitled "Why XXXXXXX Is Epically AWESOME!"

What to do? Chose your topic and sign up on your designated class sheet. You must list the topic and the format of your presentation (Model, animoto video, skit video, poster, painting) - Note, I want this to be creativelyepicallyawesome.

How will we be scored: Your presentation will be placed on the EPICALLY AWESOME SPECTRUM. It will recieve a score of between 1 and 15. Honestly, if you choose to do this, you have no business getting anything less than 10 points, otherwise, it isn't epic. These points will be placed on a previously taken assignment as we do not have an EPICALLY AWESOME Catgory on our syllabus.

When is this due? DECEMBER 14. I know, less than 2 weeks to be EPIC.... How long do you think it took to make Avatar though? Yeah, only 47 hours! Ok...maybe not (insert courtesy laugh).

How long can presenations be? NO LONGER THAN 5 minutes. Less than that is ok.

Can I work with others? Here are the rules for that. PREAP - Groups of up to 3 are acceptable. GOVT - Groups of 3. AP World - Groups of up to 4. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? Only that many people can get credit for the EPIC production. However, you may have more people involved but only group members get points. For example, you need to stage a battle scene so you get 15 people from your class. Only group members get credit. AP STUDENTS: You may work with other classes.

NOTE ABOUT DUE DATE: IF IT IS NOT DONE AND IN CLASS ON THE DUE DATE, you will be at a 0 on the EPICALLY AWESOME SPECTRUM. It is NOT my problem if your project deletes itself, you can't get it printed, etc...You think when the Titanic sank, they were like...um...well, cant we still call it unsinkable bc we meant for it to arrive? NO, EPIC FAIL.

AP World Document Analysis Confusion

I know the document analysis was difficult this week. It wasn't the standard click and find. You had to take key terms and them search them on google with "primary source" in quotes. Then you have to comb through the hits and find the source. You may turn it in in Monday for up to 95%.
