AVID 4 Update: September 1

We are off and running for our LAST FALL semester of high school!  We are currently working on a rather extensive "I am a Senior, Now What" project and will continue to work on it over the next few weeks.

AVID 3 Update: September 1, 2011

Over the past few weeks, we've covered a bunch of junior-year essentials and we are about to begin a unit on standardized tests (GHSGT, SAT, and ACT).

AVID 2 Update: September 1, 2011

We're off to a great start so far.  We will be revisiting Graduation Requirements as well as calculating our HOPE GPA's.  Then, we will begin an in-depth career project.

AVID 1 Update: September 1st

We are off to a great semester, even though we've combined our 2 AVID classes into one, LARGE class.  Over the next few weeks, we will continue to review/learn AVID essentials, discuss tips for succeeding in high school (study skills, test-taking strategies, etc.), as well talk about graduation requirements.
