Bienvenidos a un semestre nuevo con Espanol IIY!!!
Chapter 1 in our textbook "Ven conmigo" takes us to the country of Spain and the beautiful city of Andalucia. This Chapter is a global review of "!Ven conmigo!" Level I. We should try to cover this Unit in 2 weeks so expect to have 2 quizzes per week plus a test every 2 weeks in this semester.
We will start by Introducing the verb "ser" & "estar" (to be) and write the T-Charts for these forms. "Stop the Elf" is a formula I use to help remember when to use these different forms of the verb to be. So make sure you have these written in your notes because you will be using them quite often.
Students will: copy the vocabulario from page 33 and study them each night according to the Paso (section) we are covering in class.
Primer Paso skills- Introducing yourselves and describing people/ Present tense of the verb "tener"/Adjective agreement/
Segundo Paso skills - Talk about what you and others do/ learn forms of present tense regular verbs/
Tercer Paso skills - Saying what you like and what you don't like.
