Long time, no blog!

Here's what we did Tuesday:

• Verba scienda
• vocab circle
• Story
• Direct objects: end in -m like him, them and whom in English
• -m nouns are direct objects  no matter where the are in the sentence!
• Ex 4c and 4d
• White boards: make your name a D.O.
• HW: write translation of the story

Thursday:

• Wrote sentences using the vocab, even if they were nonsense
• reviewed direct objects
• 3 exercises in workbook
• work in small groups on smart board
• Took quiz over chcapter 4 (NOT the unit test!)
• Read books from the shelf when you were done

Next test: Friday Oct 8 Unit test over 1-5

Monday 9/27

We started chapter 4 today:

UNIT TEST!!!: Test Thursday over chapter 1-4. Use your purple vocab sheets to study. It will include culture, vocab, derivatives, grammar and reading. Study hard but don't worry . . . you'll do fine!

• Gave back ch 2 quiz
• Watched the 1st scroll of "Roman Mysteries" and you answered questions while you watched.
