There are TWO Lessons for this day -  this is the first one:

Essential Question:
What content do I need to learn in html to introduce me to html?

BCS-FWD-4
Students will demonstrate knowledge of languages, markup tags, and good coding practices commonly used to create web pages.

Daily Learning Agenda:
1.  Turn in Papers! (signed course syllabus page, student contract)
2.  Turn in FBLA membership application and $15 dues if interested.
3.  Internet Permission - get this out and show me before you continue in class.
4.  Notebook Setup:  Number, daily activity sheets, place Anticipation Guide in nb
5.  Review this course and complete your Guidelines for Success - handout.  Will discuss as class.
6.  Create the following folder in your directory on the network:  Web Design - you will be saving everything in this class folder under your number.
7.  Lesson - what is the tag structure in HTML...Watch this and take notes
 8.  Begin HTML Codes Cheat Sheet for your notebook (include html, title, head, body, br, and a p to start your cheat sheet). (handout)

Evaluation

Graded Documents:  Returned signed syllabus (no grade but I do need); returned signed student contract (no grade but need), and notes on Intro to HTML

Both classes will be working together today to go over the following:

2.  Labs to be completed:  4 (will review in class) - 3 are walkthrough
3.  Teams - Writing a program
4.  Lab #2 for this unit (it will be our 5th lab today if we get to it)
5.  HOMEWORK (if we finish the entire lesson) - worksheet & lab
